To get there you board an 8-passenger glass cabin that is located in the center of downtown Lake Tahoe, just a few steps from most major hotels and casinos. Once inside the cabin you will be whisked 2.4 miles up the side of a mountain for a 12 minute ride to the Heavenly observation deck platform at mid-station. Once you have reached the 14,000 square Observation deck you will see breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountain range that includes views of Carson City, Desolation Wilderness at around 9,123 feet above the lake. The views from this peak are truly awe-inspiring.
